Suggested Uses
Conduct an on line shop survey to research the types of products available & their cost. This could help identify gaps in the market, or popular flavours, etc. To enable pupils to investigate the prices of similar products.
Used as part of a design & make task (research).
How to do this..
1. Launch Internet browser & www.ocado.com
2. Select Food from the tool bar. (This avoids having to register to shop!).
3. Select the category you are interested in e.g. Bakery. This is further sub-divided.
4. Select Cakes & Small Cake & Muffins. A list of products & their image are displayed. This allows pupils to look at the variety available.
Extension:
1. Highlight the information they want.
2. Select Edit & Copy.
3. Open a word document (Go to Start & double click on Word).
4. Go to Edit & select Paste.
5. Save your work regularly.
